Library Card
All patrons must have a library card to check out materials from our library. You will be asked to fill out a form to give us your name, address, and phone number.
When signing up for a library card, the patron must bring these two things to the library with their application:
- Driver's license
- Proof of address (This can be a bill or a piece of mail addressed to where you currently live. We will need a mailing address as well if your home address and mailing address are seperate.)
To obtain a form for a library card adults may print out the form by clicking on the link at the end of this page or stop by the circulation desk at the library and request one. Children under 18 will need a parent's signature on their request for a card. This number entitles you to check out books, magazines, audiobooks, videos, DVDs, puzzles, games, cake pans, and electronics.
When you bring an item to the circulation desk to be checked out, the librarian will ask for your number or your name. Books, cake pans, magazines, and CDs are circulated for 2 weeks. DVDs and videos are circulated for 1 week. Puzzles and games are circulated for 30 days. Electronics vary.
Library materials that have been checked out may be renewed unless someone has put a hold on that item. Simply call the library at 347-2432 to renew your materials or apply for a username and password at the circulation desk so that you may renew your materials from your home computer by selecting the card catalog tab above.
If you are interested in a book that is currently checked out, we can put a hold on that item for you. When the item is returned, we will call you and let you know that the item is being held for you.
